SPLASHDANCE CLASS DESCRIPTION
This class combines buoyancy and strength training exercises in water with a dance class format including warm-up, range of motion ballet bar, upper body strengthening, and an aerobic segment with four dance jumps. Due to water's buoyancy and support, all ages can reap the benefits of these range of motion and leg, hip, knee, and foot strengthening exercises. The legs firm and strengthen while the gluteal muscles tighten and back muscles and abs support the body's movements. This combination of stretching, strength, and agility creates a workout that is high-energy and creates positive results. The class combines the buoyancy of water with range-of-motion exercises to increase flexibility while gaining strength. Class is based on Allegra Kent's "Water Beauty Book" plus 30+ years of knowledge of water exercise and multiple certifications in AAI, AEA, USWFA, and training by the Dancer Allegra Kent. Equipment is optional
